Geo is the poet whose opening lines from The Galactica frame the entire conflict between Leptar and Aptor, giving him a strange authority as both chronicler and participant in the journey. He leads the expedition with a cynic's wit and a poet's eye, reading meaning into skeletons, shadows, and the eerie figures that haunt the roadways. His missing arm and his fame make him an unlikely hero, but his willingness to walk into the dark first is what keeps the group moving.
