Escape

Accompanies Shann through the underground and onto the island, identifying the Wyverns and noting the disk they use is a copy of one he had.

XV: Dragon Slayer

Discusses Wyvern disks and mental control with Shann; explains the 'wishing' transport mechanism.

XVI: Third Prisoner

Thorvald accompanies Shann to the Wyvern chamber and attempts to link mentally with the elder Wyvern to support Shann's mission, though he is skeptical of the plan.

Shann attempts to reach him telepathically and briefly makes contact, sensing Thorvald's awareness.

XVIII: Storm's Ending

Contacts Shann mentally to get a fix point; orchestrates the illusion mist with the Wyverns' power; arrives to free Shann and explains the strategy behind the attack.
