Scene I

Chapter 4
Scene I
Aaron celebrates Tamora's rise to empress and plots to advance his own position. He intervenes in a quarrel between Demetrius and Chiron over Lavinia, persuading them to set aside their rivalry and instead collaborate on a plan to rape her during a hunting party, with Tamora's support.
Chapter 5
Scene II
In a forest near Rome, Titus Andronicus leads a hunt with his sons and Marcus. The emperor Saturninus, Tamora, Bassianus, Lavinia, and others join. Demetrius and Chiron hint at their predatory intentions toward Lavinia.
