Laxus serves Witchland as high admiral, the man who keeps the fleet in trim and thinks in terms of supply, anchor, and asylum while Corinius dreams of pitched battle. His caution and his command of the sea make him pivotal to how the war moves west, and his fate carries him further than he ever intended.
