# What The Necessity of the New Birth means in The Way to God and How to Find It

> Moody stresses that being 'born again' is essential for entering the kingdom of God, and that this spiritual regeneration is a work of God, not human effort.

## Explanation

Moody stresses that being 'born again' is essential for entering the kingdom of God, and that this spiritual regeneration is a work of God, not human effort.

Central theme: without being born again, one cannot enter the kingdom of God.

The Necessity of the New Birth is one of the patterns The Way to God and How to Find It by D. L. Moody returns to. The chapter notes above are from this edition’s companions — open those chapters to see how the book stages the idea rather than treating the theme as a slogan.
