## Snapshot

A Hearne caught between the workshop's demands and the beggars' world, carrying messages and news between the two.

## Who they are

Andrew Martin moves through the early scenes as a connective figure, reporting on Martin's trance and the doctor's arrival while brushing against the beggars gathered outside. His position between the settled trade and the wandering poor makes him a witness to both sides of the coming upheaval. He matters because the story's tensions pass through him before they break open.
