## Who they are

Albert is the kind of boy who says 'Yes, sir' and means it, whether he is packing a bag for Holyhead or unpacking it again five minutes later. He is not clever in the drawing-room sense, but he is loyal, quick on the stairs, and utterly unshockable about the strange errands his employers set him. He matters because the Young Adventurers cannot run their double life without someone who will carry messages, watch doors, and never ask why.
