**Role:** supporting

**Also known as:** Queen Djuna

**First appearance:** 0006-part-one-ii-in-which-one-queen-works-and-another-queen-watches

## Snapshot

The Queens' pint-sized man-of-all-work, whose grave ceremony with a silver tray and steaming coffee cups makes the Inspector's apartment feel like a proper headquarters.

## Who they are

Djuna runs the Queen household with a jack-in-the-box efficiency, announcing callers like a butler and vanishing into the kitchenette only to reappear with coffee for four. His bright-eyed eagerness and mock-formal dignity give the grim investigation a domestic pulse, and his habit of hovering within earshot keeps him woven into the Queens' nightly councils. He matters as the quiet constant in a story full of shifting suspects — the one figure whose loyalty is never in question.
