## Snapshot

The Baron's eldest son, raised to expect precedence in a castle that is not truly his family's, and quick to resent anyone whose merit threatens his standing.

## Who they are

As heir to the Fitz-Owen household at Castle Lovel, Robert occupies the position of young master, with all the pride and touchiness that entails. His instinctive hostility toward Edmund, the foundling whose virtues outshine his own, turns ordinary sibling rivalry into something sharper and more dangerous.
