## Snapshot

An Italian acrobat whose daredevil stage act masks a darker purpose, Valdo finds himself cornered by a man who has been waiting for this conversation.

## Who they are

Valdo performs as the flying man at the Imperial Palace Theatre, a performer whose remarkable physical gifts draw both admiration and suspicion. When Walter Lance confronts him over a past intrusion at the Ravenspur studio, Valdo's cool defiance and furtive glances betray a man calculating his escape. His connection to a yellow playbill left at the scene of a murderous attack makes him the first thread in a mystery that Walter is determined to unravel himself.
