## Snapshot

Maria's long-lost sister, once imprisoned by a tyrannical father, whose name surfaces in a chambermaid's innocent remark and reopens a buried past.

## Who they are

Carlotta was the sister Maria was told was dead — separated by a family feud and a father's rage when the two girls fell in love with the sons of their hereditary enemy. The chambermaid's chance recollection of a guest who signed herself 'Carlotta' at the hotel cracks open Maria's sealed history and sets the mystery of the two sisters in motion. Her unseen presence haunts the early investigation, making every question about Maria's identity also a question about Carlotta's fate.
