## Who they are

Warren Wynd is a public figure, the kind whose name is spoken with the assumption that everyone already knows it, and whose comings and goings are watched accordingly. His celebrity gives him power over the people around him, but it also makes him a target and a puzzle, since a man that visible is hard to lose track of. The circumstances surrounding him draw Father Brown into a mystery where reputation and reality refuse to match, and where the obvious explanation is the one least worth trusting.
