## Snapshot

Madame Jordan's son, a young man whose loyalties and whereabouts keep shifting under the desert sun, making him a natural suspect in the crime.

## Who they are

Victor belongs to the Jordan family orbiting Madden's ranch, and his movements—or lack of them—draw quiet suspicion from the moment trouble surfaces. He is caught between family obligation and the pull of his own uncertain future, a tension that makes him guarded with strangers and evasive under questioning. His ambiguous position in the household keeps the reader watching him closely through the early investigation, unsure whether he is victim, witness, or something else entirely.
