## Snapshot

P. J. Madden's proud, guarded daughter, whose cool manner and complicated loyalties make her a volatile presence at the desert ranch.

## Who they are

Evelyn Madden occupies the uneasy space between her father's immense wealth and the isolation of his desert retreat, carrying herself with a hauteur that keeps most people at a distance. Her involvement in the tangle of secrets surrounding Madden's affairs makes her both a potential ally and a source of friction. She matters because her divided loyalties and sharp temper keep the household's already fragile dynamics on edge.
