## Who they are

The Count moves through London society with the ease of a man who has never been refused anything, collecting information and valuables with equal appetite. His pursuit of the Mazarin Stone sets up a battle of wits in which Holmes must match cunning against cunning, and the Count's composure under pressure makes him a worthy adversary rather than a mere thief.
