What happens

Diana is trapped by the Duke of Andover, who pressures her to marry him. As he attempts to force himself on her, Jack Carstares enters through the window and challenges the Duke to a duel. Despite an old wound, Jack fights fiercely, but the Duke wounds him again. The duel is interrupted by Lord Andrew Belmanoir and Richard Carstares, who burst in and stop the fight. Jack collapses from exhaustion and injury.
