# What Anti-Bolshevism means in The Black Gang

> A central theme is the fear of communist and anarchist infiltration, with the narrative framing such movements as criminal conspiracies aimed at destroying British society.

## Explanation

A central theme is the fear of communist and anarchist infiltration, with the narrative framing such movements as criminal conspiracies aimed at destroying British society.

Peterson's speech about the 'work of the Red International' and the threat it poses to England reinforces the anti-Bolshevik sentiment.

The Black Gang's mission is to fight the 'Red element' in England, and the chapter details the suppression of Bolshevik agitators.
