## Who they are

Maud is the Place's resident scold and mimic, copying the New Girl's frock and picking up Greta's slang as fast as she picks up everything else. She squeezes Mark's hand, trips over to Sevensee, and yips about Ghostgirls with equal gusto, her loyalties worn like costume jewelry. When the Soldiers start swinging sabers, her sharp tongue and quicker instincts show why Entertainers have to be more than party girls.
