## Who they are

Argus is the craftsman among heroes, the man whose skill with timber and joinery turned Athena's design into a ship that could cross the dark sea. He is also a kinsman of Phrixus, which gives him a personal stake in the Fleece beyond glory — he knows the land, the altar, and the grove where the serpent coils. His counsel steers the crew through unfamiliar shores, and his presence aboard the Argo quietly argues that the quest belongs as much to makers as to warriors.
