## Who they are

Blakeney leads a league of English gentlemen who trade clean linen for grime and risk their lives to pluck the innocent from the guillotine. He jokes about garlic and dirty faces even as he plans the next rescue, and his men follow him with a boy's hero worship and a man's readiness to die. In Orange he has set his sights on a child named Fleurette, and that rescue will bring him face to face with his oldest enemy in a way no one expects.
