## Snapshot

A proud Corsican painter's daughter whose fierce loyalty to her exiled father collides with a love that demands she defy him.

## Who they are

Ginevra is the daughter of Bartolomeo di Piombo, a Corsican who once sheltered the young Bonaparte and now lives in proud poverty in Paris. Raised on tales of vendetta and family honor, she has inherited her father's unbending will and his smoldering sense of injury. When love enters her life, it forces her to choose between the two absolutes she has been taught to revere: her father's authority and her own heart. Her struggle anchors the story's central drama of loyalty, exile, and the cost of passion.
