A terrified kitten who bolts to her mother with news of an old woman rat in the kitchen and a stolen lump of dough.

## Who they are

Moppet is one of Tabitha Twitchit's daughters, and she is the first to raise the alarm when the dough pan is raided. Too frightened to peek out of the barrel again, she can only stammer her report, so the mothers keep her close while they hunt for the intruder. Her panic sets the whole search in motion and shows how easily the kittens' world tips into chaos.
