**Role:** major

**Also known as:** Earl of Glenfallen

**First appearance:** 0009-a-chapter-in-the-history-of-a-tyrone-family

## Snapshot

A nobleman whose title commands deference and whose affairs draw warnings of shortened days and whispered talk of blood and treason.

## Who they are

Lord Glenfallen moves among judges, informers, and men who speak of clubs, oaths, and meetings best kept from suspicion. When Peters brings him counsel about a prisoner named Lewis Pyneweck, the advice carries an ominous edge: try him not, or your days may be shortened. His rank and the dark family secret that shadows his name make him a figure of power and menace, and the choices he faces early on shape the tragedy that gathers around him.
