**Role:** supporting

**Also known as:** St. Cyr, Cyr, Raoul, The drenched St. Cyr

**First appearance:** 0000-the-secret-of-kralitz

## Snapshot

Hollywood's bullying auteur who bellowed DeeDee Fleming into stardom and ruled Summit Pictures by threatening to defect to M.G.M. with her.

## Who they are

St. Cyr had undoubted talent — he could make one picture very well, and had made it twenty times, each starring the obedient, brainless DeeDee. His whip-hand over her let him perfect a feudalistic production unit, and even Tolliver Watt knuckled under when St. Cyr threatened to leave. He matters as the immovable ego against which a newcomer's sudden, reckless candor collides.
