First appearance: the secret of kralitz
As a supporting figure in Short Fiction, Andrea Duncan is not background color—the story leans on what they do once the chapter opens.
Duncan's wife; already aboard the Maid of Mercury as part of Olcott's plan; will smash the radio to aid the hijacking.
Andrea Duncan crosses the Lunar Line aboard the Maid of Mercury, a smiling participant in the traditional ceremony for first-time space travelers. When the Plutonians kill her during a mission gone wrong, her death becomes the hinge on which the story's revenge plot turns. Duncan carries her body in a spacesuit, wrenching free the intertron knob to prevent any Varra spy from using her remains.
