> Hadron Dalla in Short Fiction by H. Beam Piper.

**Role:** supporting

**Also known as:** Dalla, Dr. Hadron, Mistress Dalla

**First appearance:** 0000-time-and-time-again

## Snapshot

A sharp-eyed scientist who talks her way onto the Paratime Police rather than wait out an investigation, she earns Tortha Karf's grudging respect as a cop.

## Who they are

Dalla has already proven useful on the Esaron and Kholghoor Sectors, and when Vall asks to keep her on, Karf agrees and gives her a technical-expert title. She refuses to sit idle on Home Timeline while the case unfolds, and her presence sharpens the team's work. Her partnership with Vall is both professional and personal, and it drives much of the early momentum.
