## Snapshot

A monstrous bandit whose whistle kills, blocking the road to Kíev until the hero Ilyá Múromets rides out to face him.

## Who they are

The Nightingale Robber rules a stretch of road through terror, his whistle serving as both weapon and warning. He stands as the first great obstacle between Ilyá Múromets and the court at Kíev, a figure whose reputation precedes every traveler. His menace gives the early arc its shape: the hero must prove his strength not against ordinary robbers but against a creature whose very breath is lethal.
