**Role:** supporting

**Also known as:** V The Prince des Boscénos, the Prince des Boscénos, Prince Boscénos

**First appearance:** 0045-v-the-prince-des-bosc-nos

## Snapshot

An unrepentant Draconian nobleman who proposes hiring butcher boys, corrupting ministers, and kidnapping the president to restore his prince.

## Who they are

Prince Adélestan des Boscénos descends from a line of scandalous ancestors—his family motto comes from a king catching a duke's hand under a duchess's petticoat—and he has not degenerated. He joins Father Agaric's conspiracy with relish, favoring force over legal action and calmly listing three methods of seizing power. His ruthless pragmatism and aristocratic contempt for law make him the most dangerous and most honest of the plotters.
