# Comradeship and Loyalty in Mr. Standfast

> Theme guide for Mr. Standfast by John Buchan.

The deep bonds between men—Hannay, Peter, Blenkiron, and Archie—are central, with their shared history and mutual trust providing emotional strength. This male camaraderie is contrasted with the isolation of traitors and the fragility of romantic love.
