## Answer

Mr. Mulliner Stories by P. G. Wodehouse develops Gender Roles and Power across the chapters the companion marks for this theme.

Women often wield significant influence—as nurses, barmaids, or love interests—challenging male authority, while men struggle with expectations of bravery, romance, and domestic submission.

The story explores power dynamics between men and women, such as the bishop's submission to his wife and Augustine's newfound assertiveness.

Nurse Wilks exerts authority over both Frederick and Jane, reversing typical gender power dynamics, while Frederick's masculine superiority clashes with Jane's pride.
