Lady Into Fox
Mr. Tebrick, tormented by grief and madness after his wife's transformation into a fox, experiences a crisis of faith and attempts to live religiously. He is torn between his desire to overcome his obsession and his love for his vixen. After a period of separation, he finds her again and follows her to a new earth where she has moved their cubs. However, his wife's sullenness and desire for freedom escalate into a violent confrontation, culminating in Mr. Tebrick releasing her into the wild.
