He had beheld Jesus as hope and freedom from the aliens, but when the Galilean rendered unto Caesar and refused to move against the occupiers, Judas's hopes died and he decided the murderer of his hopes must be murdered. He delivers him up, then stands in a friend's house in the tempest insisting he has committed no sin, only fulfilled a small life enslaved by Rome. He goes out into the storm to seek the kingdom and beg forgiveness, leaving his friend to ponder a man who died a king while Judas died a felon.
