Sabine drifts into Christophe's orbit as a soft-spoken neighbor, sitting silently on the stoop while the street empties and the smell of new-mown hay drifts in. Where Ada's passion is loud and Minna's flirtation is childish, Sabine offers something still and adult—a grief she carries without display, a warmth Christophe is too raw to hold.
