# What Science and Technology as Tools means in Islands of Space

> Advanced scientific concepts like the molecular motion drive, space-strain drive, and telepathy are central to the plot, serving as both the means for exploration and the key to solving conflicts, highlighting humanity's reliance on ingenuity.

## Explanation

Advanced scientific concepts like the molecular motion drive, space-strain drive, and telepathy are central to the plot, serving as both the means for exploration and the key to solving conflicts, highlighting humanity's reliance on ingenuity.

The molecular motion drive, invisibility, and interplanetary shipbuilding are central to the plot, used for both problem-solving and defense.

The chapter focuses on the scientific breakthrough of altering space curvature to exceed light speed, and the development of a new power source.

The team meticulously designs the ship's systems, demonstrating technology as a means to overcome cosmic challenges.

The demonstration of the molecular motion drive and energy coil showcases advanced technology as a tool for exploration.
