# How does Invaders from the Infinite develop the theme of Evolution and Adaptation?

> Invaders from the Infinite by John W. Campbell

## Answer

Invaders from the Infinite by John W. Campbell develops Evolution and Adaptation across the chapters the companion marks for this theme.

Themes of biological and cultural evolution are central, as seen in the Ortolians' engineered rise from canine companions to a sentient race, and the Thessians' adaptation to high-gravity worlds, showing how environments shape civilizations.

The Ortolians' rapid evolution from dogs to an intelligent race, guided by the Ancient Masters, highlights adaptation in the face of catastrophe.
