## Who they are

Sringa-Bhuja is the beloved youngest son of King Vira-Bhuja, favored above his brothers and heir to a kingdom he never gets to enjoy. When the jewelled arrow he looses wounds a magician in bird form, he follows the trail of blood away from home, leaving his imprisoned mother Guna-Vara behind and his father's rage to fall on everyone else. His pursuit turns him from pampered prince into wandering stranger, and the girl he meets at the forest's edge holds both the arrow and a warning he cannot afford to ignore.
