## Snapshot

A magician's daughter with doe-soft eyes who guards the jewelled arrow her wounded father brought home, and knows exactly whose hand let it fly.

## Who they are

Rupa-Sikha lives in Dhuma-Pura, the city of her father Agni-Sikha, a great magician who loves no strangers and can wear any shape he chooses. When she learns that the wandering prince before her is the archer who shot her father, she trembles — yet she keeps the arrow and keeps talking, caught between loyalty to a vengeful parent and the pull of the honest stranger who tells her everything. Her divided heart makes her the hinge on which Sringa-Bhuja's exile turns from pursuit into something closer to alliance.
