**Role:** supporting

**Also known as:** Gennaro

**First appearance:** 0004-the-deadly-tube

## Snapshot

An Italian drawn into a case built around a deadly tube, whose testimony and loyalties may decide whether science or silence wins.

## Who they are

Gennaro belongs to the immigrant world that Kennedy's laboratory methods must enter without condescension, a man whose knowledge of the case runs deeper than his halting English suggests. He is caught between fear of exposure and the pull of old-world obligations, a tension that makes him both witness and potential suspect. His cooperation, or refusal, shapes how quickly the deadly-tube affair moves from baffling death to demonstrable proof.
