## Snapshot

A cultured British voice coolly overruling Hook's bluster, Holy Joe Wales runs the job and knows exactly how much a dead detective would cost them.

## Who they are

Wales is the brains of the crew the Op stumbles into, the one whose drawling British calm cuts through Hook's threats and hot temper. Where Hook wants to shoot the intruder, Wales calculates: killing a Continental operative only guarantees the agency comes hunting harder. His cold, practical judgment shapes the night's standoff, making him the quiet danger the Op must outthink rather than outfight.
