Givens's door presenting himself as a scientific man, though his knowledge of anthropology begins and ends with an argument he read in a Sunday supplement. What he lacks in learning he makes up for in ready eloquence, blond eyebrows knitted with belligerent indignation as he warns of Black-No-More's menace to the white race.
