Red Mick is the kind of neighbour who turns a boundary dispute into a blood feud and a court case into a family war. When his sister Peggy's claim to the Gordon inheritance surfaces, he becomes the muscle behind a conspiracy built on a forged certificate. His temper and his loyalty to kin make him both a comic menace and a genuine threat to anyone who crosses him.
